• testing is conducted by the Commonwealth Government on a regular basis to ensure no birds are fed or administered hormones or steroids in any way;

• all birds are fed by a balanced diet of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and protein meals such as soybean meal and grains;

• birds in the meat industry are housed in large open sheds instead of in cages so that they can roam freely and eat and drink as they please.
